About This Project

NEW COMPLEX FOR THE PROVINCIAL POLICE DISTRICT OF NADOR · MOROCCO
The Direction Générale de la Sécurité Nationale (DGSN), commonly known as National Security, is the main body of the Moroccan National Police. The new headquarters of the Provincial Police District of Nador and the headquarters of the Police Headquarters – GMMO – of Nador is proposed as a complex of buildings that brings together the different services that this Police Body currently requires.

 

To this end, the services of this complex is designed in such a way that it houses different functional areas, such as administrative, accommodation and logistics facilities. In addition, the corresponding provisions for parking, security and auxiliary services are foreseen, all duly integrated into the environment in which it is located. This complex makes it possible to meet all the needs to intervene in situations of extreme violence or high-risk.

 

The architectural proposal is developed on a plot of approximately 21,000 m2, located to the Southeast of the city of Nador. The general philosophy of the project has been based on the optimization of the design strategy that is supported by three fundamental pillars: energy efficiency and environmental conservation; security and continuity of service and, last but not least, technological avant-garde and ease future maintenance, all responding to the required functional program.
